A company of two halves. The pre-move communication was pretty good, we were kept informed as things went along (having said that, I don't appreciate selling tactics that involve claims such as "you need to decide by the end of day to qualify for this special offer"). The crew who came to pack and then move our belongings were great - hard-working, polite, helpful, couldn't do enough for us.
However, the office-based support left something to be desired. On the day of the move, the two moving vans took a very, very long time to arrive (several hours after we ourselves arrived at the new home). This was pretty worrying and at one stage, I did think perhaps they were not going to arrive at all. It was very hard to get in touch with anyone at the office. When the vans finally turned up, it was pretty clear the crew had stopped somewhere on the way to help out with another job (we were not told this was happening).
Lastly, although the vast majority of our possessions turned up fine, we have had a couple of things go missing (nothing major and perhaps they will turn up) but more annoying, some of our pictures were damaged - cracked glass in the frames. I emailed the company about this a day or so after the move to ask if they might help pay for some of the cost of repair - and guess what? No reply....so thanks for that.
