Wish I'd read the reviews on here before I ordered a sail shade from Primrose. I received a product that was battered but offhandedly told it was fine after I sent photos of it!
Am really suspicious of this Company's practices. Product included a 4 metre steel pole and when they delivered I was waiting at home for them, but there was no knock on the door and the product was left lying at the front door (steel pole laid across my bedding plants crushing them - thanks). If I'd seen the state of the product I'd have refused to take it and I suspect they realised this so didn't knock - just left it and ran off.
They insist on return post paid by the customer which in this case would be ridiculously expensive so am stuck.
Notice reviews on the internet are usually 1 star with complaints particularly about awful customer service treatment (ditto), but also a lot of 5 star 'reviews' which seem written in a very similar way. Also Google rankings of Company queries seem heavily 'managed' to me.
I'll never use them again; absolutely awful.
