I called drive Johnson and got a driving instructor named Abdi Dalit (if that’s really his name). I was not happy when I got paired with Abdi Dalit so I called drive Johnson customer service to change drivers. I was told I should I 1 lesson with him to see how it goes because they didn’t have any other instructor at that time. So I went I ahead with it . My first lesson with Abdi Dalit was good he showed up on time. On the second lesson Abdi Dalit advised it works out cheaper if I book block lesson, which I agreed to and booked 10 hours for £220. I paid Abdi Dalit the following lesson £220. He showed up 3 times which was 6 hours, then he requested for another £220 which I was happy to pay but did not have the money at that time. I still had 4 hours of paid lessons to take which was already booked. so I told him I will give him the extra £220 when I get paid the following week. He texted me the night before my 4th lesson to confirm the lesson I replied and we agreed to meet. The next morning he didn’t show up, I texted and called he didn’t respond. A week went by I texted he replied and agreed to meet again. Again he didn’t show up. I contacted Drive Johnson’s customer service for advice and a request of changing instructors and getting a refund from Abdi Dalit and there was nothing Drive Johnson can do they said they have had a lot of complaints about Abdi Dalit and they were Investigating. Drive Johnson stated that because I paid Abdi Dalit directly I would have to get my money back through him myself. This is very disappointing thinking that you can book lessons with a company that looks professional but when it comes to issues with their drivers they don’t want anything to do with it.
