We booked a trip to London and picked a hotel that looked promising. A couple of days before we left we contacted the hotel and were surprised to find out they didn't have an elevator and our room would be on the 3rd floor. We asked if the room could be changed but they said maybe after the first night. I'm 74 with a heart condition so that wasn't acceptable. We called bookit and although they were nice, the answer was no, we couldn't change hotels and there was nothing they would do for us. So we made arrangements with a different hotel (not through bookit) and we got absolutely nothing refunded from Bookit. That costs us an extra $1,000+ so we won't be ever trying them again.
