Good Points
Deep exposure to the places that I have been studying since childhood.
Ruth & Ehab made special arrangements for my needs as a photographer by finding me a personal Egyptian guide (Michael Roshdy) to keep the vendors and guards looking for handouts away so I could make my art.
Ruth offered lots of preparation and communication to make sure that we were taken care of.
Ehab is excellent at lecturing and fielding the hundreds of questions about ancient and modern Egypt.
Egypt is sometimes very challenging to Americans used to an affluent monoculture and Ruth & Ehab did a good job of smoothing things out for us.

Bad Points
Egypt is sometimes very challenging to Americans used to an affluent monoculture.
The entire country smokes cigarettes.

General Comments
After extensive research, my new bride & I chose Ruth Shilling's All One World Egypt Egyptologist's Tour http://www.1worldtours.com/Egyptologists'_Tour.htm for our honeymoon in Egypt. Her package offers an in-depth experience of the archeological sites that no other tour make available. With only a 16 person limit, we had access to many spaces that are forbidden to the average tourist in the ancient ruins of the empire of Egypt. Ruth Shilling and Ehab Mahmoud do an amazing job of serving up the best experience possible for the diverse interests of each group member.
