What a rip off! When the T&C stated that the fuel was payable locally I didn't expect to be held to ransom upon arrival at the off airport location! We were told we had to pay 90 Euros for a tank of fuel for a Citroen Berlingo - if we didn't want to pay for the fuel they would cancel the booking, subject to 'a charge', and return is to the terminal building at the airport. Having dropped my trousers I found that the fuel tank was actually empty! The representative walked to the petrol station, which was literally next door, whilst I drove the car all of 10 metres to the pump to be filled up. The cost of one tank - 53 Euros! Fuel surcharge because of logistical difficulties? Highway robbery more like!
