I sent an email to directsunglasses informing them that I would contact my card provider about my outstanding refund and I got a reply saying it would be dealt with the next day. 10 days later and still no refund. I've since had to contact my credit card provider to advise them that I hadn't had the refund despite all my requests. My card provider duly credited the money back whilst they look into it. Since my first review, contacted the administrators of review centre to complain about my negative review and apparently stated that they had no outstanding refunds for the period concerned! Personally I think the fact that they seem more concerned about negative reviews than the cause of those negative reviews speaks volumes.

Finally, more than 6
weeks after I asked for it I've got my refund from this company. I had
to get
my bank involved and the administrators of this site assisted too. So if
too have trouble getting the service level you'd expect (or just getting
money back) from this company I suggest you kick up as much fuss as
