I've booked a car for 3 days in Milan/ Bergamo for a very good price via Ryanair. As I have a insurance in Germany (including renting cars), I refused an extra insuance.
On the last day the employee checked the car and everything was ok but she presumed that there happend an attempt of break-in, as the key doesn't fit in the lock. Within a few seconds she prepared the document with the sum of damage (350€!) and I should confirm it with my signature. As I disagreed and refused so sign it. Unfortunately they detracted the sum from my credit card because I had to deposit a security guarantee. I'm waiting for the bill of the repair shop, surely I'll never receive!!
