“Absolutely Brilliant Service ”

Being a contractor I had been hesitating in arranging a remortgage... I had approached other brokers in the past and most had been either ineffective (asking for so much unnecessary paperwork) or very uncompetitive (quoting rates much higher than general market rates). For information the rate I got was 1.99% on a five year fixed rate mortgage - with a 60% LTV. The rates I was quoted from other brokers was in excess of 2.9%. The most competitive rates currently in the market were 1.89 (but thes wouldn’t ordinarily be available to contractors). Also the mortgage I went for was predominantly interest only which was my preference.
I started an application with Deal Direct expecting much the same response I’d experienced with previous brokers. Pleasantly surprised - the lady I spoke to was so efficient and effective in discussing and progressing my application. The person I dealt with was really good - responding to emails and texts late in the evening and also during the weekend. I think it took a couple of hours (after I’d sent the requested documents - my bank statements, identity and previous 2 contracts) to get the mortgage approved in principal and less than 2 weeks to get the offer letter. Highly recommend the broker I dealt with. In fact she’s already working on a mortgage with another contractor, I’ve recommended, from my office.
