I've been a customer w/capital one for 10+ years. I had issues with my credit cards when I first received them but have paid them off and become more responsible. My first capital one card increased the interest to outrageous levels while the economy was going sour. I cancelled that one. My second credit card has had an $800 credit limit for as long as I can remember, but I pay money each month for "membership". They will not increase my limit at this time. I called to close that account today.I was transferred to a manager today that tried to "help me out". She did nothing but try & explain what the fees were for (available 24/7, etc...).When I was still adamant about closing the account, she stopped being so helpful & became downright rude. I am happy to no longer be associated with capital one!
