“The Princeton Tec Apex LED Headlamp was bought from...”

written by trigerappy on 22/04/2009

Good Points
Excellent value for money, well made and should last a fair time. 150 hours burn time flat out from 4 AA batteries. I like the choice of colours. Extremely bright Led' lighting with good beam range nice packaging from princeton. This is a professional headlamp which could be used for many tasks due to its waterproof and strong but light to wear qualities. Also ideal for cyclists or walkers as it leaves your hands free to do other things with. Simple and functional.

Bad Points
None at all. I might buy another one but in orange this time.

General Comments
The Princeton Tec Apex LED Headlamp was bought from 'Veals' fishing tackle for £69.95. Used for lamping rabbits and also sea fishing and walking the dog at night.Came well wrapped and presented and works a treat. Waterproof and has single beam with 2 modes - bright and dim or 4 other peripheral led's with 3 modes, bright, dim and flashing Easy to press buttons under the lamp. Runs off of 4 AA Duracell batteries (supplied) and mounted in a easy to open pack on the headband at the back of the head. Available 3 different colours (mine's black but I quite like the orange one) well built and comfortable to wear. I like it a lot. Princeton Tec have been making lamps for 30 years, so they ought to know what they are doing.
