Seriously, I'm generally LONG off the tee. Not like the other 80% that say their a 'long hitter' (When is "between 250-280" considered 'long?'). I'm LONG, like a 301 yd avg driving distance. YES! That would put me alongside the PGA/European Tour leaders. I bought a 14 pc. Orlimar Black Ice set near 4 mos. ago. Started playing again after being stagnant the past several yrs. Included was a 10.5* stock driver, reg flex. I was driving 'round 288 with it. Only 3 drives right @ 300 and many more just avg (285). Found a TM R9 10.5*, reg for the right price and grabbed it. VERY, VERY short, inconsistent drives followed (249 yd avg). Thankfully, my sanity was restored when the SQ Dymo Str8-FIT went on clearance. I Snatched one up (9.5*, Stiff [USTM69]) immediately. No other driver I've hit even comes close. It's LONG & straight, even on mishits. I've driven loads of shots well over 305 and, this past Sunday, drove the 150 marker on a 539 yd PAR 5 (with NO dogleg cut)!!! I actually began teeing off with my 3W before this buy. Until finding this club, I HATED Nike golf. Since this discovery, I've added the Nike One Tour ball as my ball of choice. Their a treat as well.
