“Poor quality and abysmal after sales service”

For about 900 pounds you'd expect pretty good quality and great after care but with AEG/Electrolux you won't get either. Our grill didn't work properly from day one, we couldn't even grill sausages or make cheese on toast because it cut out after 8 minutes, 2 of which were spent heating up. All to do with a faulty thermostat that required 3 months and 4 visits from engineers to fix because AEG parts department kept sending out the same faulty part. The worst of it was, it was a known fault but AEG decided it was far better for the customers to be inconvenienced rather than them. As compensation we received a 6 month extension to our warranty, which considering the cooker was faulty for 3 months was no compensation at all. Made in China now with plastic parts where metal used to be, but the same high prices. I would never buy AEG again. Rubbish quality and awful service.
