Purchased a pair of shoes that broke on second time of wearing. Returned within the time stated on receipt, couldn’t find a suitable pair of shoes at that point of returning and asked for a refund. The member of staff said she’d phone the manager of this shop and disappeared out of sight through the back door. On her return she said she couldn’t refund me as I didn’t have the shoe box, I explained I was not given a shoe box but was given two pouch bags which I still have. Again she said she’d have to speak again to the manager and disappeared again. On her second return she explained to me it was the managers discretion to decide on a refund and he refused on the basis I’d worn them twice, I will be complaining to head office and trading standing standards as I have been sold goods that aren’t fit for purpose. Be warned, if you take shoes back if their faulty you’ll be refused a refund.
