“Crystal Good - Scaffolders Bad”

Overall happy with our new windows but...
Communication & everything to do with the scaffolders was very disappointing.

Good-windows & front door look great. Price good. Installers pleasant & friendly. 2 issues arose on the first day which were rectified on the second day. Friendly staff on the phone.

Bad-wasn’t told we’d need scaffolding. Scaffolders didn’t call to let us know they were coming so came while we were at work. Scaffolding wasn’t taken down within the said/agreed 5 days post installation. I had to make 5 phone calls to get said scaffolding taken down. Scaffolders blaming Crystal, Crystal blaming scaffolders. Scaffolders then didn’t contact to say they were coming to take it down. Delayed a day due to rain as well! Turned out to be less than a half hour job to get taken down.
Also have a window sill that needs replacing due to a chip being found on the edge.
Initial consultation was ok but we later found out the consultant made “decisions” without checking which were changed at the survey stage.
