The website is excellent, and gives good access to cheap cars, but they could do a lot more to avoid problems at pick up by being clearer about the conditions of the rentals. I've rented a lot of cars and have wasted HUGE amounts of time at the rental agency arguing and listening to other customers arguing about extra charges and insurance. Also, the car descriptions are not accurate - last time I booked a fiat 500L 'or similar' and got a bashed up nissan note... (We rent in Ibiza normally from record go, gold car or OK, they seem to be the least bad options here)
Loads of time could be saved if the website made things clear:

You DO need a credit card to book, otherwise the agency will force you to buy their overpriced insurance - even if you already carry other insurance.

they will try and bully you to buy the overpriced insurance anyway by scaring you with the idea that they'll deduct the excess if there's any damage.

You will always be charged an additional 25 - 35 euros "admin fee"

They will block the amount of the excess on your credit card. (600-2000 depending on the car and company)

ALWAYS check the car for existing damage! Take photos & videos, starting with a wide shot showing the car still in the agency garage.
