“Refused refund even though cancelled 4 DAYS AFTET”

"No refund on deposit even when cancelled in 4 days" due to a member of family taken into hospital as well as my mum poorly after just gone through a quadruple heart by pass! I am so sad that Wanda home need to keep my mums £1000 deposit. After ymany failed attempts trying to speak to the manager, on Monday my family drove to wanda homes as receptionist confirmed the manager was in. yet when they arrived the receptionist said the Manager was not about! literally ten minutes later !
Her car with her personalised number plate was in the car park, so Clearly she was avoiding us...
I did eventually get to speak to her today and explained how sad I am with the lack of compassion shown. She did say she sympathises for my mum and for people who have lost mothers! but its not possibly to give the deposit back even though it had been cancelled within 4 days. I'm just so pleased mum didn't hand over £2000 deposit which the salesman tried to get. I'm writing this so others are aware about this company . Please be careful who you give your hard earned cash too. Avoid this company and warn your family
