I can't help but sign up every year.
After my first time volunteering in Ghana, I can't help but keep visiting.
I have been back 3 times for a visit since volunteering as a medical intern in Feb 2017.
The people I have worked with will be in my memories forever and I theirs.
I visit the same family and even get picked up from the airport from the same Projects Abroad staff member I befriended.
I have also met patients we helped while I was there, further supporting them.
Helping locals who need help and meeting life long friends made me sign up again in 2018, Tanzania was just as rewarding and i was able to pass on skills I learned in Ghana. At the same time I learned a lot I can pass on to people in Madagascar next year.
Projects Abroad is more than just volunteering, it's teaching, learning, supporting, befriending, maturing and living.
