Good Points
rooms were great,weather perfect,golf good,pool lovely,

Bad Points
service was bad, restaurants closed, dead after 8pm, management slow to respond to compalints, daily activities limited, beach closed off from the resortand must use gate, isolated from any area atractions

General Comments
Overall was not as good as we had anticipated. we had been to their resort in Dominican Republic and found it outstanding. This was nothing like it at all and it had a higher rating, go figure. We travelled through Sunquest and they were hopeless for responding to complaints. Not the first time they did this. We emailed the Melia head office and had a response with a cash refund for part of the trip.

things maybe better as they were upgrading at the time but it was the fact we had to go to head office before the local manger compensated us that always makes you question how much they care about you.
