“supercilious salesman”

I was rather annoyed at this man who turned up stinking of cigarettes, he did not introduce himself, immediately told me what they do not do vis remove existing mirror sliding doors and frames, talked down to me, I was obviously not his upper class customer. He spoke about his company as being the second best on the market but his back up staff, i.e. those who made the appointment, as poor. He showed me a sample but immediately asked me about my budget as the price of each door he felt may be a shock to me. Told me to get a joiner and buy some furniture from John Lewis etc. When he left I felt insulted.
