“Complicated, unreliable, slow...”

Each time my university sent out the study material to me, I sadly experience big problems with Yodel. Every time it took very long to arrive at my home. According to Yodel delivery attempts have been made when they really have not, as I was home. After to reach the drivers as suggested is not possible because voice mail is always full. Once my parcel got missing and I used the chat where they ensured me to investigate. I have never received any update about my missing parcel and my university needed to send out a replacement to me. It arrived 1 month later and with that I was one month behind with reading my books. A few times I also tried to call the customer service but I was never timely able to get through them. I would not recommend this service. I have never experienced problems with other couriers. A good substitute would be Hermes the service is always very satisfying, they even call you and if you are not home and they come later again or you can tell them where they can leave it for you.
