We applied firstly to India.gov for e-visa and they were rejected. Lost $110 no reason why. So we had to.pay again. We used visagenie a little more expensive as you are paying for their service. 4 days later e-visa arrives.
We travel to India alot and will never again apply for our visa through any other service than this company
