I'm afraid that the hype and marketing are a little carried away here. About the best this is that it's not Vista, though if you get a better look it really is Vista with the worst bits patched up. Then again Vista felt like a beta anyway and was too much for the hardware of the day. 7 has the benfit of faster hardware, better driver support and newer software being written for it, but it still has rough edges and many older devices and software will not work with it. It also lacks and really new features, with a OSX like dock/taskbar being the best. Aerosnap? Oh please, is that the best you can do after nine years since XP?
