“Not happy”

I made an on the spur moment decision to have my hair deep conditioned and blow dried last week on 23rd December 2017 which was the Christmas weekend. Given that I hadn't made an appointment elsewhere and I knew that you could just walk in to Supercuts with no appointment necessary I went in after I finished work earlier than usual.

I had the conditioning treatment washed in and then went on to have the blow dry with a round brush. The member of staff who was doing my hair said that she would use the round brush but if the curl didn't quite hold she'd use curling tongs. She decided to stick with the brush and at the end of the blow dry she commented that the curls might "drop a little." Within half an hour,however, the curls had completely disappeared!I was unable to go straight back that evening, the following day or over the next few days as I was busy with Christmas and having family over. I went back on 28th December and spoke to the lady that had done my hair and asked whether I could either have my money back or whether they could, as a gesture of good will, offer me something to make up for my experience. I was told that I should have come in immediately the day after but that they couldn't offer a refund or anything else. I asked, had I have come in the day after, would that have made a differnece to which she said, maybe or maybe not but essentially too much time had gone by and she couldn't do anything about it. She advised me to speak with her manager that would be in the next day. I asked whether speaking with her manager would make any difference, to which she said she didn't know but most probably not. Suffice to say, I did not go back to speak with her manager. All in all, I might as well have thrown that money down the drain for all the good having my hair done there did me. I would never recommend Supercuts unless of course you like poor customer care and an appaling blow dry!
