“The Ripspeed DVD733b is a great unit for those looking...”

Good Points
A great all round in car entertainment system at a reasonable price with a very clear LCD screen.

Bad Points
The removable facia is a bit fiddly to get on and takes a while to get used to doing so.
For "legal reasons" the display reads do not watch while driving all the time, unless you can wire it up to your handbrake circuit which means it will only display the dvd while the handbrake is on, unless you "illegally" change the parking setting to off which isn't easy to find as it isn't made clear in the manual.
While using the auxillary input the screen displays a bright blue which can be quite distracting while driving.

General Comments
The Ripspeed DVD733b is a great unit for those looking for something that does more than just plays your cd's at a very affordable price (while stocks last because I was told in halfords that it will be discontinued soon). If you have trouble getting rid of the safety message when trying to watch a dvd, simply push and hold the volume button in until the menu with eq settings shows and you will see parking at the bottom, navigate to this option and change it to off.
