Good Points
Night time entertainment for children. You can move to together Hotels for your dinner - same dinner different location!

Bad Points
Check in is not until 3pm so if you have an early flight - you have to wait a long time for a room. Food warm, selection not great - under cooked chicken. No food suitable for young children, everything fried it seemed. Activity Centre - kid must be part of the kids club to use it. Hotel staff attitude - they don't want to know. The Bedroom very small - no place to store milk for the baby. Have to queue for up to 40 mins at the bar to get milk or even beer! Bathroom smelled, took ages to get cot for the room even though I have requested on when I booked the Holiday - the place is not value for money if all you have is very young children.

General Comments
Our flight was at 5am, which meant we had to leave our house at 2am in order to get to the Airport in plenty of time.

When we arrived at Salou airport I noticed on the reps clip board that the party number was listed at 3 and not 4 i.e. My 1 year old was not included on the booking numbers? Didn't think this would cause a problem?

We arrived at the Hotel around 9:45am to be told that check in was not until 3pm!

If I had to have know this when we were making our booking I would not have gone on such an early flight or even booked this hotel.

I complained straight away, told them I need a room ASAP, as we were up all night and that I was travelling with a 1 year old and a two year old.

The guy on the reception just pointed out the notice on the desk that clearly stated check in was at 3pm.

After sitting in reception (Kept going to reception asking what they could do for me ) with two screaming kids for several hours we eventually got a room at 1pm, only to discover no cot for the one year old, which I had clearly requested when making our booking.

I had to go to guest services where again it was pointed out to me that my booking was for 3 persons, but they would get me a cot, which took about 2 hours to arrive!

The Room was very small with the beds and the cot - very little storage for a family of 4. Glass plate on top of each bed locker highly dangerous for kids, my husband removed them and gave them to the cleaning staff.

The bathroom smelled terrible for the entire week it was clean but very smelly.

The Food, food always warm not hot. The toaster didn't work propally put bread through it 3 times! If I wanted to warm bottle of milk for the baby the microwave did not work correctly, 15 mins and all you got was a bottle with a very hot top and the milk cold.

No provisions are made for very young children, found it very difficult to find something suitbale for them to eat.

There was no vegetables served until the last day. No potatoes except chips, wedges, deep fat fried potatoes.

As far as I could see if they couldn ' t bake it they fried it " 90% of the food was fried!

Not very healthy. Salad was the only healthy option!

The bar on level 2 was quite small, we had to queue for a bottle of milk for the baby (no fridge in room) for up to 40 minutes every night, if you went to the bar in the restaurant and explained what you wanted you were sent back to the small bar!

The Activities For Children: The night time activities were very good but could get quite loud.

The hotel has an indoor play area for kids. Even though I knew my children would not be able to join the kids club as they were too young, I did think that I could bring them into the play area and supervise them at play.

I was told no way, unless they were 4 year old.

Again I assumed when I read the brochure they would be at least able to go in to the activity centre as they do at home! Again this was a reason why I booked this hotel!

If we were clearly informed about the booking time, the children's activity centre and food situation when making the booking for this hotel. I would not have spent £1800 on this holiday this wasn't value for money, we would have been better off in an apartment situation.

Overall we were very disappointed with the entire holiday and would not book hotel again as it is a complete waste of money and the faculties did not meet our expectations. We also feel that we were badly informed.
