just returned from 7 days on the Island Escape, 2nd time was on the ship in Sept 2009, so we knew what it was like. We had a great cruise in Sept, could not fault anything, know it needs an upgrade but every aspect of the cruise outshone that. This time however the food was not as good, everything was only warm, not hot like we like it, the quality of food was not as good, vegetables and potatoes were hard and very undercooked.However the holiday was still great the whole crew make everyone feel so welcome, its an amazing friendly place to be. The weather was not too kind at times but we can't do anything about that. I will definate return to this ship and if the refurbishments go ahead it will take some beating.
