“Screen is good, it has every type of personalisation...”

written by Phonewhat?. on 06/02/2003

Good Points
Screen is good, it has every type of personalisation you can think of (by downloading bits via wap). The games are some of the best I have ever seen on a mobile phone (although it would be nice to have a racing game). The user interface is easy to get used to and quick to navigate with very little delay compared to some other phones. The case styling is great and the size of the phone is about right (it doesn't feel like it will break if you squeeze to hard!). Everything on this phone is brilliant, there are lots of innovative small design details, like a phone lock that comes on automatically after 20s. This phone doesn't have many bad points.

Bad Points
The 256 colour screen is good, but with most other non-sony ericsson products coming out with 4096 colours, it isn't that good. When used in addition to the communicam the pictures come out great on the PC but look a little poor on the phone screen. I personally think that Sony's 5-d jog-dial is a little bit better than the joy stick, but even better would be to have both...? T68 owners have come across a problem of the joystick wearing out and breaking, although the T300's joystick is more substantial, there is still that possibility... On the T300, while texting the space key has been moved from bottom middle to bottom right on the keypad, which is annoying and takes a bit of getting used to.
