“I decided to get fit after quitting Football and...”

written by on 14/10/2010

I decided to get fit after quitting Football and preffered to be out doors rather than the Gym. I originally bought a Claud Butler Stone River, which was a great bike to start with. After 15 months I set myself a £750 budget, looked around and after reading lots of reviews decided to go £100 more and went for a Boardman Team.

I had read good & bad about the Service from Halfords, therefore I picked up the bike in package and took it staright round to my local bike shop. I have to say its everything I want, I'm 17 stone and it still handles with great agility and like most other people upgraded with WTB tyres, seat and placed a remote lock for the suspension. I recently did the C2C for charity with semi-slick tyres and it just took me up the longest, steepest hils. Do yourself a favour buy one.
