Good Points
Looks good, reasonable sound quality, ease of use.

Bad Points
Not enough preset stations in my opinion (only 4 each on DAB and FM), I don't know if this is a general problem or a fault with my particular radio, but if I press a preset station and then turn the volume down the unit "freezes" and none of the buttons work and no sound comes from the radio. I found that switching off at the plug and switching back on again brings the radio back to life, so as long as it doesn't get any worse it is merely an annoyance.

General Comments
I have never owned any other Digital Radio so my review is subjective. I personally find that DAB is better than Medium Wave (AM), but I honestly think that FM is better than DAB whatever the adverts say. On the plus side you get a great many more stations than Analogue radio, but just like Digital TV, many of these stations are repetitive and similar to each other and there is less variety than you might expect. Having said that if like me you listen to a lot of radio it is worth shelling out thirty to forty quid for. If however you only listen to the radio infrequently for news, talk shows, sport or non music media, I would recommend you save your cash and stick with your old Analogue Radio or buy a cheap Analogue Radio for under a tenner.
