Do Not Buy The Plymouth Voyager. Had A New Transmi
Do not buy the Plymouth Voyager. Had a new transmission at 75,000. New water and powersteering pumps this summer. The rubber gaskets around the doors keeps falling off. All of the screws on the tailgate have fallen out. The 3rd brake light cover won't stay on. The oil seals have been replace 3 times. I will never buy another Chrylser product again!!!!

Pass This Minivan Up...any Year, Any Variation On
Pass this minivan up...Any year, any variation on CHRYSLER....DO NOT BUY!!!
I am about to shell out $2,000 for a new tranny on my 97 voyager. There are several TSB's from daimler chrysler on this 41TE tranny because they are defective!!! The dealers will never admit this though.
Careful, after it gets stuck in "limp home" mode, the reverse will go next!
shifting into 2nd . is called "going into limp mode" there is something wrong w/ your rebuilt tranny and it is designed to simply get you home ...my 95' voyager tranny lasted me 148k miles and now the rebuild is great ! i may be lucky, knock on wood, because i also know they are notorious for tranny problems .
These comments about Chrysler minivans are wrong. Chrysler minivans drive well and shift smoothly. If you want your Chrysler to last many years without trouble, then stay away from the dealer for repairs. Instead, find a local mechanic you can trust.
