General Comments
The Kokkinos Hotel was a brilliant and very simple hotel. It had everything me and my girlfriend wanted. It is situated right next to the beautiful Fig Tree Bay and is in the heart of the lively Protaras. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops down the road which is of great convenience. Our apartment was of a reasonable size but there are bigger apartments available. It had a balcony and large bathroom with a very good, fun shower and a bath. The room also had a fridge, cooking rings and a safety deposit box, which may have been better if it had been situated at reception. The staff were helpful, very friendly, and always available thanks to the 24hour reception. The next door FRIENDS bar, which is part of the hotel was not at all loud and was a decent place to eat. The swimming pool was not of great quality but it was good to cool off in. We would recommend getting there early though because people put towels down and don't use the beds all day which is rather annoying. The rooms were supposed to be cleaned daily but the maids would have a day off every week and our room was not cleaned the day before we left. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kokkinos Hotel and would strongly recommend it.
