I had a 94 fj1200 for a couple of years and it was a great bike ! I added a scottoiler and a givi top box , otherwise it was standard services every 6000km . Bike never let me down , was awesome when you opened up the throttle and my teenage children loved to go for a ride with dad . alas a divorce and the temporary seduction of a 98 model 1100 virago meant we were parted . I am now looking for another fj1200 as the cruiser kills my sore back , with its soft rear end . The fj1200 had 250,000km on it when I let it go and the compression in the cylinders was still as good as new ! so if you find one keep it !! ride safely out there .regards Tim ( queensland , Australia )
