Our Son And His Salamancan Wife Held Their Wedding
Our son and his Salamancan wife held their wedding reception here in September, 2006. It was a really wonderful weekend stay and the wedding was perfect from beginning to end. All in all this made for a very memorable occasion for both the Spanish and English guests.

(2003)The city is just 2 1/2 hours from Madrid and has one of the oldests universities in Europe, from XVII century. The night is very good and you can have very good tapas at Plaza Mayor, wich is even prettier at night!
The Abba Fonseca hotel is a 4 stars, new, but just looks like the others buildings of the city from XVII century. And its cheap: for just 50 euros you can have a nice room with a great view of Salamanca!
The University of Salamanca was founded in 1218, a long long time before the XVII century.
