I Really Like The Daisy P51 Wrist Brased Model Cat

I really like the Daisy P51 Wrist Brased model catapult, overall it is very good. The wrist supporter is really good, it makes my arm stable. The pitol grip makes your arm comfortable, it also gives a whoooooooooole lot of power.

When you first get it the bands might brake after a few days so when you get it i would suggest to to get a seporate set of bands.[i preffure laser hawk bands]

Daisy Chinese Made Slinghots Are Decent. The Handl

Daisy Chinese Made Slinghots are decent. The handles are fine and the quality of the metal is also above average. Daisy's biggest problem is the power bands-they have a terrible stacking problem and (I own several of these slings-including that one that had one fork shorter than the other) when I try to reach my 29" anchor, the bands actually stop stretching before that point. If you replace the bands with say TRUMARK or Marksman Bands, these are good slingshots.

The current rage are these adjustable "power" slings where you can slide the forks out past the handle. I don't do that because 1) I have a plenty long draw and the slingshots-with lead musket balls will kill the stuff I shoot with them easily and secondly 2) because your torque factor increases. its like an overdraw on a target compound bow-it magnifies errors in form,

I also prefer a horseshoe type fork over the V that these slings use but that is personal preference. I find the most accurate slings have the forks similar to the Marksman or the Barnett Black Widow.

All in all Daisys are OK-they need better rubber

Okay, Before I Start: Rubber Thingie = The Th

Okay, before I start:

Rubber thingie = The thing you pull

Metal thingie = Main metal frame

Well, all that I need to say is the

Daisy P51 is a great starters sling shot, I brought it nearly three years ago, and it worked like magic. I couldn't believe my luck owning this awesome, great looking, and great feeling piece of machinery.

After about 500 shots of smooth, round pebbles, the rubber thingie started to tear, and I thought this was because I was too rough with it. So risking the rubber owning my eye when it breaks, I decided to pull it off, and had an inspection of the metal frame.

The part where the rubber attatches to (The two arms) had rouch and sharp metal files/bite/parts on it, which was tearing the rubber. So I decided got the sling shot replaced, and ordered a professional rubber. This came with parts that went over the metal, which prevented tearing (Costs 10 bux).

From then on, three years has past and I have only gone through one rubber thingie, mainly becuse I don't use it that often, but when I need the power, it is there.

Lightweight, collapsable frame works like magic, just two screws and you can adjust the overall length.

If you are a beginner, and want a high performance, trustworthy, powerful (Depending on rubber), and a fun sling shot...

I RECCOMEND THE DAISY P51!

I Got The Daisy P51 Wrist Brased Model, And When I

I got the Daisy P51 wrist brased model, and when I first saw it I liked it. I do feel though that it is hard to use if you have big hands and if you want to move it up or down you need a tool.

I Have A "chrony" To Check Speed And Have Not Foun

I have a "chrony" to check speed and have not found one commerical made slingshot that I like real well, especially for target shooting. This slingshot however feels good, especially for the price. I put my own bands on to improve speed with .4375 dia. balls.

I was just curious, with your chrony, what was the fps. that it registed for this slingshot? Normally with your other slingshots, what is the fps. that you average? Thanks
