Philip Yancey, Reaching for the Invisible God

Through out, Reaching for the Invisible God, Philip Yancey sites specific examples of how his faith has fluctuated. He also has countless examples of others who have struggled with difficulties. Many of the people he quotes are ones who are perceived as "strong" Christians. How refreshing to see that even those people who are held up as examples of "good/strong" Christians have periods of doubting their faith. Most importantly they find a way to GROW through the struggles.

If I were to quote ONE sentence which was helped me to realize that it's O.K. to be uncerain in my faith at times, it would be the following. "Those who honestly confront their doubts often find themselves growing into a faith that transcends the doubts."
