This Is A Review Of The Pc Version Of The Alias Ga
This is a review of the PC version of the Alias game from Acclaim. This is not a game you should even attempt to purchase unless you are a die-hard fan of the tv-show. The control setup is very clumsy and time consuming. The in-game camera is horrible during fighting and when you can't control it, even when you can, it is not great. Often times, when it comes to jumping up, or climbing, the programmers took very little time to convert to PC. I have not tried the PS2 or X-box versions, cause I don't have them, but I'm pretty sure that the climb/jump problem isn't as pronounced as in the PC version. The only saving grace to this game is the actual connection with Alias; creators, cast, and music. Sydney looks great, and Dixon is quite impressive in their likeness to the actors. Marshall, Jack, and Vaughn are not quite up to par, but they still look better than other games based on tv or movies. So far, the script in the game is pretty good. All in all, this is only a game that die-hard Alias fans would want to play. Any serious gamer would find their money wasted on this game. If I weren't a fan of this show, I would honestly steer clear. After what I have played, even being a fan, does not have me very fond of this game: It is okay if you don't play many games and don't have much to compare it to.
