Being Of Japanese Origin, I Had Been Very Curious

Being of Japanese origin, I had been very curious about Lost In Translation for a long time as many foreign friends of mine recommended it to me. At first, I was upset, encountering a number of Japanese people speaking in weird English or acting strangely. I thought this film was just making fun of Japan. But I cannot say that everything described in the film is absolutely false because some of it bears a resemblence to Japanese culture. I also liked the story but I especially enjoyed the description of my country through the view of foreigners. It is interesting not only for non-Japanese people to get an impression of Japan but also for the Japanese to know how foreigners picture our society.

Lost In Translation Starts Slowly And Continues To

Lost In Translation starts slowly and continues to meander, but because it remains at the same pace it doesn't seem to matter and a sense of anticipation always keeps the audiences' attention.

A really good film focusing on the relationship between the two main characters and Bill Murray and the Japanese. Both are intriguing and contain subtle comedy.

It is quite intense despite the pace and the whole film takes place over a few days in Tokyo.

Although there is a large age gap they share a lot and their relationship develops quickly in the short time they share trapped in a hotel. To say much more would spoil the story as it is really a film about discovery.

Go and see it if you want a film that's easy to watch and will make you feel good at the end. It's a great film for the romantic however it is definitely not cheesy.

Lost In Translation Is A Mellow And Not Dramatic P

Lost in Translation is a mellow and not dramatic piece of action film inside very actual patterns: Tokyo, a cradle where no character can sleep, the lure of working for the money versus the appetite of eating nothing else yet when you've just graduated. Two souls deep in a rapid world with wishful thoughts of getting out and a big age gap.

Wondrous watching film whether you like Bob Harris or his film partner not. It is more a matter of whether you like Japanese food and modern capitalism rather than creative fantasies on the surrealist front of Liverpool in Mexico DF.

Nice to watch, easy following Karaoke friendly included, an enticing end and sublimated global awareness of upmarket routine.
