As One Of The Few Tequilas Available In The United
As one of the few tequilas available in the United Kingdom, Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila is a very sad example of the classic Mexican spirit. It's roughness means that it's only really any good for slamming, so as to avoid its harsh taste. It's not typical of tequila: try one of the better brands available through the specialist drinks shop located in London's Old Compton Street. If this (or Sierra tequila) are the only brands available where you are, I'd recommend vodka.

Some tequila is rough or clear. This is neither. Especially suited to shooting with lemon/lime and salt, this spirit can also be used in mixes. I would recommend buying a cheaper tequila for margaritas.
