Please beware. I set up an account for dial up 15 months ago. I have been trying to terminate the contract with this company for the past 10 months. It is impossible to cancel the contract via telephone or internet. Finally my bank fraud section stopped them taking payments from my account and is pursing them for the money taken fraudulently from my account.

Last problem I had with the service was almost 2 years ago. Since then, good service, good price, no complaints. Spped does decrease from 7mb to 5mb in the evenings but you get this with most providers.

Have had no problems with Fast4 apart from when system is down for maintence.

Until very recently I have been getting 2 Mbs from Fast4. Today it is down to 1.4 which is not good. However,I pay less than £10.a month and this is excellent value by any standard. I can't remember the download limit,but it is less than I need.

Everything in my experience has been negative experience, they are the worst internet provider I have personally so far been with, as I have never been so annoyed by FUP, in my opinion the customer services were also unhelpful in my experience.I do not recommend Fast 4.net

Fast.4 net used to be good but now they have download limits as far as I am concerned, I do not recommend fast4.net. I signed up because they offered unlimited downloads then one month after bbc iPlayer comes out and people are downloading more they wrote to all their customers telling them they were restricting their downloads to a pathetic 15 meg a month in 5 days time. They obviously knew they were going to do this considerably before they informed their customers but chose to cynically give them the shortest amount of notice possible. They then charged customers one months notice when they wanted to leave, therefore forcing them to pay for a service they did not use because they had changed ISP or forcing them to pay £2 a gig for every extra gigabyte over 15 gig that they downloaded as far as I am concerned from my experience. In addition it is often impossible to get hold of them on their helpline. They have a queuing system but if there are more than about 5 people waiting in the queue you cannot join the queue therefore if there are a lot of problems and a lot of people trying to get through it can take days before they even give you the opportunity to wait in a queue in my opinion. The service also appears to be deteriorating with the line dropping for 10minutes to an hour several times a day in my experience. Another reason to be wary of this company is that they are a small ISP without loads of customers and since they have introduced download limits. Do not recommend Fast4.net, previously a great ISP, now one of the worst I personally have experienced so far I am going to O2 who so far seem efficient.

When they restrict your service they basically turn it off, in my experience anyway. It takes a minute to 3 minutes to load a page up for me, in my opinion there is no common ground with them. Plus as far as I am concerned they don't offer value for money, If you have there unlimited package I seem to not be able to use more than 15Gb a month which makes there service not worth using for me because you will find many more cheaper and better. There customer service is poor because they expect technical problems during the week and before 5pm, without 24 hr support there a pain to deal with if something goes wrong.

I loved this ISP for a straight year because I could do what ever I liked but as soon as they ruined it with silly restrictions and a bogus FUP it felt like a betrayal and I expect a mass exodus soon. With there new FUP nothing warrants spending 16 a month on broadband when tiscali offer a similar service for 12.99 a month.

I recommended a number of people to the service as it was quite reasonable. I never get paid for the recommendation as I thought I would.

As far as I am concerned they suddenly changed their usage policy limiting the amount I could download+upload resulting in me getting cut off for the rest of the month as I had exceeded their limit.

I am a bit annoyed to say the least that as far as I am aware they have not yet informed me that this would happen. If it had been brought to my attention I may have avoided being cut off.

As a result of Fast4's recent actions I have canceled my account. (As are the people I recommended Fast4 to.. My apologies to them for the recommendation).
