Finlux 82XMM310 Marimekko

I have had two since Feb 2004.

Not sure why they break, no one can explain it to me, the sound still works but no picture. I thought it might be the Sky box, but have changed that just in case.

I spent weeks looking for the "right Tv", read review after review, then i saw the Finlux 82XMM310 Marimekko on eBay. It was time well spent, this TV is the Bizz. Menu is foolproof, everything conected and set up in 15 Mins (DVD, Sky, VCR). The auto tuning and 'add components' was a doddle to use. Picture quality is excellent and the split screen, 4 or 16 channel viewed at once is cracking. For the price ,£925 delivered to the door, I am over the moon. Plus you get a 3 years exchange warranty. Can't complain with that, can you?

I must say that I bought this Finlux 82XMM310 Marimekko without even seeing the picture quality . I'd seen what the tv looks like and I had read the reviews and I thought I'd take a chance . I'm sooo glad I did !

I bought it online via "Beststuff" because they offer a 30 day no quibble money back guarantee and it was with me within 40 hours .

It is delivered on a packing crate and comprises of two boxes , one for the tv and the other for the stand .

I opted for the black finnish ('cos that's what the wife wanted).

The stand was straightforward to construct, but don't think for one moment that because it's so easy to construct that it's not of high quality !

Then , two take two burly people (me and a friend) one at each end of the set and liiift .

The tv is secured to the stand with four screws .

Then connect the mains and the rf lead and switch on .

An on screen menu pops up and its so very easy to follow .Within five minutes the tv is showing what is capable of. Even with my analogue reception the picture is fantastic , much better in ALL respects than the usual stuff that you will find in your electrical retailers and the sound quality is also excellent (no specific manufacturers named to avoid their embarrasment).

I cant wait till I get a digital signal , i,e S*y .
