Sunny Beach, Hotel Iberostar Obzor Beach

Would definitely go back to this hotel or any other Iberostar hotel elsewhere. I think we went at the right time of year as it wasn't too crowded, by the second week there were much more people there and we started using the other restaurant, don't know if we were allowed to do that but no one ever said anything. I can imagine that by July or August this hotel would be very busy and even though we had the choice of loads of places to grab a sunbed I don't think this would be the case later on in the year. Perhaps I shouldn't say that because now everyone will go in May ha ha. All in all we had a great time here I think it has been one of the best holidays we have had 10 out of 10 !!

The Hotel Iberostar in Sunny Beach has lots of bars near it, including a cocktail bar called Pencho's which had the guiness book of record for having the most cocktails on offer which is over 1000. There was also the opportunity to take a day trip to Romania for about £30, we didn't go on but I spoke with a lady who did and said it was very interesting. The local town of Varna is very interesting, and there is quite a lot to see and do there, if you get chance to go, taxi's are cheap so as long as you pick one of the yellow ones that hang outside of the hotel you should be ok.Would recommend going to the Dolphinarium! My only other recommendation is to definately go for a traditional Bulgarian meal with traditional Bulgarian entertainment and not forgetting trying some of the absolutely delicious Bulgarian wine! YUM!
