Lakai Freight

Overall the Lakai Freight shoe is a good deal. It has some good points and some bad. I think the worst thing about them is the sole wearing down. The best thing is that the toe doesn't wear down that much.

Lakai Freight: These shoes are of a material Ive never used before, the flipper-tip is coated heavy and barely has worn at all since I got them, the ridgedy new-newness has flattened smooth, but overall, barely a dent. But in feel, that was a downside at the beginning, it was very grippy on the toe, which I had to get used to, then after a while, I had to re-adjust to the normal skateshoe feel, once it smoothed out, not a big deal.

The material is tough and takes a while to break into, but the innards are great. They are insanely comfy and warm, the innards have worn little faster than the outer, save for the the padding attatched to the bottom of the insole in the arch which slipped but I fixed that with a dab of superglue, monor, very minor. The bottom of the soles dont have much to them, but that hasn't seem to effected me at all. Its pretty cool looking, actually, with the logo and the letters I-B-S under a layer of clear grip. There is a little 3 centimeter or so square of white grip of a different material that said lakai on it and wore away, I didn't see the purpose for it, that confused me. Also, they are stupid at cleanliness. I have no idea how to clean these! I walk through some dirt and bam, they are dirty for a week or two. Rubbing them in snow seemed to work well though! =P And the laces are still intact, after this long, which is great, um, they are kind of weird laces and took a while to "break into" so that they would actually stay tied. They come at a length that made it impossible for me to tie them loopy style and have the shoe actually look cool still, so I double k'notted. And the tongue is also realy fat and that kinda makes it hard to tie up the dies too tight, anyways, txs!! Arigato.

not that good....Bulky, board feel isnt great, which is the most important thing about a skate shoe in my opinion, grip wears quickly. But durable as all hell and comfy.

The Lakai Freight last so long, sweet for flip trick, grip is so good,they wont fail you, shoe laces wont break. So good for over all skating.
