Isle of Wight, Thorness Bay, Angelas Holidays

This holiday at Thorness bay Isle of Wight this August 08 was for 18 members of my family it was a very special occasion. Unfortunately we made the wrong decision and chose Thorness bay as our holiday camp. Never again.

We have just had a superb holiday on the Isle of Wight staying at Thorness Bay holiday park. We booked through Angelas holidays at www.angelasholidays.co.uk and their service and price was excellent.

The caravan is very clean and well equipped with a lovely decked area outside with patio furniture and a large parasol. The holiday park is set in woodland, and there is a lovely walk down to Thorness Bay (although if you want a good beach for swimming, you will have to go to the southern end of the Island.

The entertainment was very good with Sparky's Krew Club keeping the children amused.

Excellent will be returning in 2005.

Thorness Bay Angelas Holidays - Luxury Static Caravan 2002:

The caravan was clean spacious and well equipped with the added benefit of being able to place the travel cot in a second bedroom instead of the lounge as is often the case. The entertainment team were fantastic and provided a wide range of activities each day and night, defiantly something for everyone. The added bonus of being straight off the beach was brilliant for taking children and fishing equipment. A choice of two well priced eateries both offering good value for money and a wide choice of food, id recommend this spot for anyone wishing to relax or have a fun filled holiday for couples and families of all ages.

Excellent on-site facilities and lovely spot for a quiet holiday. Excellent for kids with lots of room to play away from adults,they have to be careful of the road though (speed limit 10 MPH !!)Indoor pool and slide. Lots of stuff for adults in the evening as well. Bar prices a bit pricey, but who cares!

All round very good, not Butlins but excellent facilities. The Woodhouse's nice people to deal with. You might want to do a bit of research on whats available locally, the web site does contain a lot of info.

PS. Yes,it does have its own car park space.

Thorness Bay holiday park was an excellent base for our family holiday on the Isle of Wight.

The accommodation was provided by Angelas Holidays, whose service and price was excellent.
