Nikon Nikkor MF 24mm 2.8 AIS

I use my Nikon Nikkor MF primarily for landscapes. It brings everything in both near and far to a very, very sharp quality picture status. The corner to corner sharpness is amazing, especially from F5.6 onward. I also likes it's compactness. Reminds me of the size of a 50MM F1.8 AIS with so much more of a view in the finder.

One of the best manual focus wide-angle lenses ever constructed. A favorite of many outdoors photographers for its extreme sharpness, the 24/2.8 is not as flare-prone as Nikon's faster f/2 24mm lens. This lens design has consistently rated extremely high in optical quality in repeated tests by various authorities, and it's one of my all-time favorites for landscape work. While today's pros have gravitated to more versatile AF wide-angle zooms, these lenses still cannot match this prime lens design in terms of optical quality and resolution.
