I Bought A Pc (desktop = £300) From These Gu
I bought a pc (desktop = £300) from these guys six weeks ago and they still havent delivered. They dont answer their phone emails, in fact there is no other way o contact them to get my money back! They're a con and i suggest not to do business with these guys.

PBSS (bristol) Ltd has gone into liquidation. This happend as the MD Paul is seriously ill, and one of their major suppliers went bust. They were trying to trade out of it last week, but could not cope as there were mounting calls and emails and the staff were swamped. I went in personaly with a friend last week and they had just had someone in to say that they could take what they want and they did just that, and the staff had little they could do.
I was also able to ask what was happening alongside this, as they had a load of damaged pc's returned and apparently they had a bad run with the courier and they have to advvance replace otherwise customers get unhappy, they have to pay for replacements til the insurance goes through and pays up which can take upto 6 months.
They also pointed me to the OFT website which is the office of fair trading, and they have all the distance selling regs. Under the regs, Internet Auctions are not covered, so they in effect have no legal obligation to get the goods to you in 30 days. However they voluntarily did abide by them as best they could. On the otherside, if you bought or won and auction, if you had upgrades, which it seems 99% of people did, then they become custom builds, which can take longer and again no time scales, and no obligation to recive a refund.
I know the MD is genuinly ill as my partner knows his in law's. So we know that is true, also one of their suppliers went belly up and they had a large amount of stock ordered on pre payment, so techicaly lost the lot.
The advice we were given if you paid by Credit or Debit card is to seek a refund throught the card issuer. If you paid by Payapal you can seek redress through them. If you have paid by cash or cheque, then you need to write to:

It seems it was a really bad run of luck as things were looking promising for them. Just goes to show it can happen to anyone, anytime.
Intrestingly enough a trading standards officer visted while we were there and he asked what was going on, and what they did, as soon as internet and auctions were mentioned he was unable to do anything. It seems this is a loophole, which PBSS were trying to close, by voluntering to do this.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. PBSS Bristol Ltd Entry EL cannot be trusted. I ordered more than £800-worth of hardware from them and received NOTHING and am consequently trying to get my money back.
All those complementary reviews about PBSS must be written by the company themselves. Do not buy from them they will rip you off! Avoid!

I Found Pbss By Accident Too, Through Ebay: I'd Ne
I found PBSS by accident too, through EBay: I'd never heard of them even though I only live a couple of miles away. I bought the XP3000 system, as advertised on EBay, "over the counter" with 17" CRT, KB, mouse, speakers & XP. This was incredible value for money: £00's less than similar spec Big Names. Service was excellent, staff were very helpful, I got it when they promised and I'm very happy with it. The sooner these guys go retail too, the better!

I Was Looking For A New System To Replace The One
i was looking for a new system to replace the one i have at ome but was looking for hours but had no joy in locating one that met my expectations. my friend recomended me to this site and i found evrything i was looking for. a great range of systems (even could change the look as well as the spec and an array of components to upgrade in the future. shame i couldnt find it on any search engine!
couldnt agree more with these. i received a mp3/vcd/cd player. got it the next day (top service).

We Ordered An Xp2000+ Entry Level System With Tft
We ordered an XP2000+ Entry Level system with TFT monitor. Found these guys by accident on the web, website is a bit naff, but give a ring and see what they can do. There prices may be a little high compared to some others, but back up and support even with user caused problems as in our case were resolved quickly and efficiently.
The system is excellent value, works well with Win XP and even came with a CTX TFT monitor, delivered and installed for just short of £800.00, with WIN XP home and a works package thrown in.
Our Machine is an XP2000+, 80GB HDD (7200rpm), K7S 5A Mobo, 512mb DDR PC2100 ram, DVD, CDRW, FDD etc etc and the Sofwtare and the TFT!
You can ring em on 08700 541 036 and always ask to speak to Paul. There is a saleman there who is a little Pushy, so always ask for Paul! He is the owner and will make sure you get what you want.
PBSS also Custom Build to any spec/budget, including all the case mods etc, we had clear side panel and cold cathode lighting!
