I had some concerns prior to joining eFitness. I called their company and spoke with a represntative. I asked him if I could program my workout to the equipment I had at home. He said yes. I asked him how I could do this. He told me that I once I joined that there was a list of equipment that I could choose from. I asked if I could see their format prior to joining. He said no, but assured me that the format would include everything I needed. I joined and the format did not include the equipment I had at home. The exercises they recommend are for individuals who have little to no experience in working out. I e-mailed them and asked for a customized workout with specific requests. They sent me an e-mail back stating that they would work on a program that would satisfy my needs. I never received received a new workout. I e-mailed them on two other occassions and finally receieved a reponse which stated that they would not renew my membership when it expires in May. It is companies like eFitness which make you leary about ever purchasing anything on the internet. I would not recommend their services and am in the process of disputing their membership charge to my credit card.

Efitness.com is a scam. Beware.
Last night, I signed up for Efitness.com, which does custom workout systems and food and cardio and tracking. It's new - so they were offering $59 for a full year. So I ordered it. Well, the workouts suck - despite entering my age, size and experience with working out (significant) the exercises were made up of arm circles and torso twists - like I'm 75 years old. So I called, twice. Once to see if I could fix it. Which I can't. And then to cancel the account. They won't cancel it - only credit me what's left after a 9 week program which is 30 bucks. The claim that there is a 9-week limit on the "contract" - which I never once saw. Basically, they stole cash from me for a sham of a service.
I am so glad to of found this site. I was seriously considering joining EFitness. Now, after having read these reviews I definatly will not. It's great that we the consumers have a way to check out these companies over the net. I already had a hard time w/ another fitness program. Thank God I only lost $8.
Thanks for your input!
