Easycottages

I have never booked with easy cottages. I never got that far!

When I had a problem with booking and I rang the help line I was spoken to you by a very very rude woman, who made me feel like I was in the wrong to ring and that I was intruding on her day. She spoke down to me, even laughed at me at one point in a snide and childish way.

I left the conversation none the wiser and a little hurt and embarressed.

Needless to say I booked through a different company (welcome cottages). I booked the same property and got a much better price, and to top it all the service I received was much more on a par with what you would expect.

I then contacted easy cottages privately to let them know that they had staff issues with this woman but my email was blatantly ignored.

So I thought I would come on here and share it with you all instead.

Believe me, you can get a better deal somewhere else with someone else, someone who actually wants your custom and isn't a bully.

And probably on the same property. Shop around...

AND DON'T USE EASY COTTAGES!

Great travel agent, simple site and really easy to book with. Fantastic! Service was great, prices were just under the competitions and the cottage was fantastic. Had a fantastic holiday.

I e-mailed to explain the problems that we had had and expected an explaination. I could not believe it when I received no reply from customer service.

It is a shame as the operators went out of the way to find the accomodation that I wanted.

Have had many self-catering holidays world-wide over the years and used many other companies - none compare to the ease of using easycottages.com. Even when I've made a selection which might not be available, the bookers have always come up trumps with a comparable or better alternative. May they go from strength to strength!

www.EasyCottages.com is an outstandingly easy to use site with really useful photography on thousands of cottages. We found it hard to choose, but only because so many looked tempting. Shortlist facility is brilliant for getting everyone to choose remotely
