I Bought This Hitachi C28wf532n Tv From Currys, Si
I bought this Hitachi C28WF532N TV from Currys, silly I know! The material they were broadcasting in their shop was dismal to say the least. So I bought the set taking a chance the picture was good when I got it home and fed the set with a decent signal from Sky digital and my DVD player. At first I thought the picture was lousy very dark and a little grainy. But after days of messing around I am happy with the results. I tried to exchange the set at first but got nowhere as I had stupidly bought the set viewing a poor signal hoping it would be ok when using a high quality one, so I was "stuck with it" as the sales manager said. If I could go back in time I think I would purchase a different set definitely from a specialist dealer as Currys are a joke as far as customer service is concerned. I have since seen the set on-line for 100 pounds less which is disappointing as I am sure the companies service cannot be as bad as I have experienced. All in all a good but not excellent television set that will probably last forever as Hitachi's usually do!
I agree with this review to a certain extent although I think this set has an excellent flat screen with no distortion around the edges whatsoever. I am very pleased with my set from a picture point of view the only minor gipe that I have is that a certain amount of hiss can be heard from the televisions speakers during quiet parts of films/programs etc. All in all a very high quality product for a decent price.
