Chris Stewart, Driving Over Lemons

I have just read two delightful books by Chris Stewart, he was the drummer in Genesis before Phil Collins came along. He's been featured in several of the daily papers and recently was interviewed on Radio four.

Anyway, he wrote about how he travelled to Spain. I have read a few of these ' no going back' type books, written by patronizing types who bugger off to a new life abroad, speaking nothing of the language, save for a few mis-pronounced words which they can use to send the locals up, however Chris seems a much more, 'roll your sleeves up' and down to earth type of chap.

One of the things i like best about these two books are that they transport you from wherever it is that you are reading them and takes you to Alpajarras in the South of Spain, the thing is that sometimes you dont want to come back.
